   In a medium bowl, mash the ripe avocados until they reach your desired consistency—some like it smooth, others prefer a few chunks. Stir in the 1 tablespoon lime juice and 1/4 teaspoon white wine vinegar.

   Add the 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 1/8 teaspoon cumin, and 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder to the mashed avocado. Mix well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed throughout.

   Fold in the finely diced 1/2 onion, minced 1 serrano pepper (seeds in for more heat, or remove them for a milder spice), chopped 2 tablespoons cilantro, and diced 1 roma tomato. Stir gently to combine everything without over-mashing.
