We aim for WCAG 2.1 AA conformance across the site and are actively working toward it — we don't claim full conformance yet.

Colour tokens tuned for AA contrast in all three themes, keyboard-accessible navigation with visible focus states and skip links, semantic landmarks and headings, alt text on content imagery, reduced-motion support, and screen-reader announcements in interactive flows like cook mode.

Some older interactive components are still being upgraded to full keyboard/screen-reader parity. If you hit a barrier, e-mail hello@recipes.zone with the page and what happened — accessibility reports go to the top of the queue.
