   Build the Cobbler

   In an old-fashioned glass, combine the 1 teaspoon of sugar with the 3 ounces of club soda, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Fill the glass almost to the top with crushed ice.

   Pour in the 2 ounces of dark rum and stir everything together thoroughly. Finish by garnishing with the maraschino cherry, along with slices of orange and lemon.
