Roti john
Roti John is a Malaysian street food sandwich, essentially a savory omelet cooked directly onto a baguette. Minced beef, onion, and chili are mixed with eggs, then cooked on a griddle with an open-faced baguette pressed on top, allowing the bread to absorb the mixture. Once flipped and crisped, it's typically served slathered with mayonnaise or sambal. It's a quick, hearty snack or light meal that comes together in under 40 minutes.
