Refreshing Strawberry Limeade

   Macerate Berries

   Combine the strawberries and sugar in a bowl. Let the mixture sit for about 30 minutes; this draws out the juices from the berries, creating a syrupy base.

   Puree Strawberries

   Transfer the macerated strawberries and their juices to a food processor or blender. Pulse until the mixture is completely smooth.

   Assemble Drink Base

   Fill a large pitcher about one-third of the way with ice. Pour in the seltzer and lemon-lime soda, aiming for a ratio of 2 parts seltzer to 1 part lemon-lime soda.

   Add Puree and Lime

   Stir a few scoops of the strawberry puree into the pitcher, along with the juice from 1 lime.

   Stir and Adjust

   Stir everything thoroughly to combine, then taste. Adjust with more strawberry puree or lime juice if you prefer a stronger flavor.

   Garnish and Serve

   Add thinly sliced lime to the pitcher. For serving, you can prepare a sugared rim on your glasses using turbinado sugar.

   Fill the prepared glasses with ice and the limeade, then garnish each with a fresh lime wedge.
