Padron peppers
Padron peppers are a classic Spanish tapa, simple to prepare and quick to disappear. These small green peppers get blistered and slightly charred when cooked, bringing out their subtle sweetness. All you need is a hot pan or air fryer, a good olive oil, and a sprinkle of sea salt to finish. They make a great snack on their own or fit right into a larger tapas spread.

Cook the Peppers
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over high heat. If you're using an air fryer, preheat it to 205°C for 3 minutes.
Add the peppers to the hot pan or air fryer. Fry, stirring frequently, for about 5 minutes until they're blistered and wilted. You want them soft with some nice charred spots.

Season and Serve
Once cooked, transfer the peppers to a serving plate. Finish them with a generous sprinkle of sea salt. These are great on their own, with a simple dip, or as part of a larger tapas spread.
