Mutabbaq
Mutabbaq are savory pastry parcels, crisp on the outside and packed with a spiced ground meat filling. The meat cooks down with garlic, ginger, and a blend of warm spices like cumin and allspice, then gets mixed with fresh tomato, spring onion, and an egg to bind it. Wrapped in buttery filo, these parcels can be quickly pan-fried or baked until they turn a deep golden brown. They're excellent as a snack or a light meal.

Cook the Mincemeat
Heat a frying pan with some oil over medium-high heat. Add the mashed garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in the mincemeat and all the seasonings, breaking up the meat as it browns. Cook until the meat is fully cooked through and no longer pink, then remove from heat and set aside to cool completely. - 02
