Mango Guacamole

   Prep mango and aromatics

   Chop the mango, onion, and garlic. Seed the serrano chiles, then finely chop them. Set all these prepped ingredients aside.

   Chop avocados

   Halve and pit the avocados, then scoop the flesh into a medium bowl. Chop the avocado into rough chunks.

   Zest and juice limes

   Zest the limes, then set the zest aside for later. To get the most juice, roll the limes firmly on your counter before cutting.

   Cut the limes in half and squeeze all the juice over the chopped avocados in the bowl. Give the avocado and lime juice a good stir; the lime juice helps keep the avocado from browning.

   Combine and mash

   Add the chopped mango, onion, garlic, and chiles to the avocado mixture. Stir in the reserved lime zest. Mash everything together with a fork or potato masher until you reach your preferred consistency – I like mine a bit chunky. Let it sit for about 15 minutes for the flavors to meld before serving.
