   Mix and Shake

   In a cocktail shaker, combine the 1 1/2 oz gin, 2 tsp superfine sugar, and 1 1/2 oz lemon juice. Fill the shaker with ice, then shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker feels very cold. Strain the mixture into a chilled champagne glass. Top it up with 4 oz champagne and stir gently to combine.
