Codfish deviled eggs
These deviled eggs offer a savory twist on the classic, incorporating flaked codfish right on top of the creamy filling. You'll start with a standard deviled egg base, blending mashed yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth. Once piped into the halved egg whites, each is crowned with a piece of codfish and finished with a sprinkle of chives and freshly cracked black pepper. The process takes about an hour, much of which is hands-off time for boiling and cooling the eggs.
