Apple Cider Punch

If you're using whole allspice and cloves, tie them loosely in a piece of cheesecloth to make a spice sachet; this makes them easy to remove later. Combine the apple cider, brown sugar, lemonade, orange juice, cloves, allspice, nutmeg, and cinnamon sticks in a large pot.
Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it's warmed through and the brown sugar has dissolved. Don't let it boil. If you'd like to add a spirit, rum pairs well with the apple and spice notes.
