Thai beef stir-fry
This Thai beef stir-fry comes together in about 15 minutes, making it a quick weeknight meal. Thin strips of beef are seared with fresh chili, then coated in a savory oyster sauce, and finished with fragrant basil leaves. Serve it simply over steamed rice.

Sear Beef and Chili
Get your wok or a large frying pan smoking hot over high heat. Add the 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, swirling it around to coat the pan, then immediately tip in the beef strips and the sliced red chilli. Stir-fry constantly until the beef is lightly browned, which should take about 3 minutes.
Pour in the 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce and continue to cook, stirring, until the sauce is heated through and evenly coats the meat. Finally, stir in the handful of basil leaves until they just wilt. Serve immediately with plain rice.
