Roast the Squash and Garlic
Preheat your oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas 6. Arrange the butternut squash and garlic cloves on a baking tray. Drizzle generously with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper. Roast for 35–40 minutes, or until the squash is completely soft and easily pierced with a fork.
