Satee
This satee recipe features marinated beef (or pork) threaded onto skewers, ready for grilling or frying. The marinade, a blend of onion, garlic, lemon, soy sauce, and spices, comes together quickly in a blender. Just be sure to marinate the meat for a few hours, not overnight, to keep it tender. Before cooking, roll each skewer in a seasoned oil to prevent drying and ensure a good sear.

Make the Marinade
In an electric blender, combine 1 large onion (coarsely chopped), 2 cloves of garlic, the juice of 2 lemons, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 cup of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of ground coriander, and 1 cup of oil. Blend until thoroughly combined and smooth. - 02
Marinate the Meat
Pour the prepared marinade over 4-5 pounds of beef or pork tenderloin, cut into cubes. Let the meat marinate for a few hours. Do not marinate overnight, as this can change the texture of the meat.
