Rustic Brie Toasts with Wild Mushroom, Cranberry and Shallot

   Sauté Mushroom Mixture

   Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. While it heats, warm the olive oil in a sauté pan over medium heat. Add the shallot, diced mushrooms, cranberries, and thyme.

   Sauté for a few minutes, until the shallot softens and the mushrooms begin to release their liquid. Season with salt and pepper, then set the mixture aside to cool slightly.

   Assemble Toasts

   Slice the brie into 12 pieces and arrange one piece on each slice of baguette. Top each with a generous spoonful of the cooled mushroom, cranberry, and shallot mixture, then arrange them on an oiled cookie sheet.

   Bake Until Melted

   Bake the toasts for about 15 minutes, or until the brie is fully melted and bubbling and the bread is lightly golden at the edges.
