   Place the mixture in the freezer until the ice cream has firmed up again and is scoopable. This ensures it holds its shape when added to the soda.

   Assemble Floats

   In two glasses, combine the 16 ounces lemon-lime soda, 2 ounces maraschino cherry juice, and 3 ounces vodka, dividing the mixture evenly.

   Once the amaretto ice cream is firm, scoop it generously into each glass. Garnish each float with a few maraschino cherries.
