Preheat Oven, Grease Dish
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9-inch pie dish. - 02
Mix the Filling
Switch the palette to suit the room. Your choice is saved locally.

In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar and butter. Beat them together with an electric mixer until the mixture is creamy and very well combined, without lumps.
Beat in the eggs, adding them one at a time and fully incorporating each before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt. Gradually beat in the flour, adding it a little at a time, followed by the milk, continuing to mix until you have a smooth, creamy batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared pie dish.
Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 35 minutes. Carefully remove the pie and cover the rim with aluminum foil to prevent the crust from burning.
Return it to the oven and continue baking for about 15 more minutes, or until the middle sets and the top forms a crusty layer. The center should still have a slight wobble, but not be liquid.
Let the pie cool completely to room temperature before transferring it to the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to chill and fully set before slicing and serving.
