Pistachio Kunafa Chocolate Cake and Cupcakes
This dessert layers a soft chocolate cake base with a crunchy, nutty kunafa filling, all topped with a rich chocolate ganache. The kunafa layer, made from roasted sevaiiya and a homemade pistachio paste, offers a textural contrast to the cake. It needs a few hours in the fridge to set properly, making it a good make-ahead option.

Make Oreo Cake Batter
Start by powdering the 25 Oreo cream biscuits with a pinch of salt. Gradually mix in 1/2 cup warm milk until you have a smooth cake batter. Stir in the 1/2 teaspoon baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon vinegar. - 02
Bake and Cool Cake
Grease a loose-bottomed tin and pour in a 1cm thick layer of the batter.
Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 7-8 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it cool completely on a wire rack.
