Lemon Blondies with Lemon Glaze Recipe

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray an 8 or 9-inch square pan with nonstick cooking spray.

In a medium bowl, stir together the flour and salt. In a separate, larger bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the butter, sugar, and lemon zest on medium speed until the mixture is visibly light and fluffy.

Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the blondies cool completely on a wire rack to room temperature.

While the blondies cool, prepare the glaze: combine the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a small bowl, stirring until smooth.
