Using two dessert spoons (the mixture is sticky!), scoop a heaping tablespoon (about 22 mL) of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheets. Form each scoop into a tight, neat mound.
Continue with the remaining mixture, stirring the bowl occasionally to keep everything evenly distributed. Space the macaroons about 2 inches (5 cm) apart on the baking sheets.
