Apple Dumplings In Fanta Sauce

Peel and core the apples, then cut each into 4 pieces. Halve each of those pieces again, so you have 8 crescent-shaped pieces per apple.
Sprinkle the apple crescents with half a lemon's juice to keep them from browning.
Arrange the rolled apple dumplings snugly in a baking pan. Pour the melted butter and sugar mixture evenly over each dumpling.
Carefully pour the Fanta lemon over everything, making sure the liquid surrounds the dumplings.
Bake in the preheated 400 °F (200 °C) oven for about 30 minutes. The pastry should be golden brown and puffed, and the sauce bubbly.
After about 15 to 20 minutes, if the tops are browning too quickly, you can loosely cover the pan with baking paper to prevent them from burning.
