This chicken sauté recipe is very quick and the entire cooking process will take you no more than half an hour. Such a recipe is perfect even during a busy work week as a healthy and quick dinner.
The Versatility of Chicken Sauté
Chicken sauté can include more or less any vegetable.
Whether you choose broccoli, carrots, or zucchini, you certainly won’t go wrong.
How to Make the Best Chicken Sauté with Vegetables?
My fantastic chicken sauté includes bell peppers, corn, peas, and mushrooms. It’s a very similar sauté to the one that makes up this stuffed potato pancake with chicken. This one, however, is enriched with ingredients like ginger.
When it comes to meat, you can choose chicken thighs or chicken breasts. Delicious chicken breasts fit this recipe perfectly. Simply pat the breasts dry with a paper towel.
There’s no need to wash them with water. Then cut them into smaller cubes.
Preparation is Key
It’s important to prepare everything first because you’ll then just be adding ingredients to the pan step by step.
What Side Dish Goes Best with Chicken Sauté?
The most popular version is probably with rice.
However, chicken sauté doesn’t have to be served only with rice. Spaetzle is also a good choice. Less known here, but very tasty. Spaetzle goes well with dishes that are juicy and contain sauce.
Tips for a Fantastic Chicken Sauté with Vegetables
- Add turmeric to the pot with rice. Turmeric is healthy and will give your rice a beautiful color.
- You can use frozen or canned peas. However, frozen peas work perfectly here.
- Don’t be afraid to add more water. It helps create an excellent consistency. If your chicken sauté turns out too watery, mix one teaspoon of cornstarch with a little water and add it to the sauté.
